Shipboard Training & Assessment
THE OBJECTIVES OF:
This programme prepares seafaring Officers working on commercial ships with the necessary skills to conduct training and assessment whilst serving onboard, as required under the STCW Code 2010 requirements Table A-II/2 and A-III/2. The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and skills to shipboard training Officers and Assessors.
The course meets the standard of training and certification of watchkeepers 2010 requirements and is approved by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)

- Training principles and Methodologies
- Planning an Effective Learning Environment and proper use of Training Aids
- Planning and use of Effective Teaching Activities
- Creating a Course and relevant subject-related Training Plan
- Evaluating Teaching and Learning outcomes & Quality Management
- Preparing and conducting Competence-based Assessments and onboard Assessments
- Assessment Performance & Debriefs
