THE OBJECTIVES OF:

• Understand the requirement for the Flag State Control Inspection
• Know that Singapore-registered ships should comply with international and national regulations and standards and subject to PSC inspection
• Develop and preparing for inspections with the comprehensive checklist
• Know the certificates and documents to prepare for the Port-State Control inspections
• Know the process to lift the detention, in the event of detention. Different action taken codes

COURSE OUTLINE:

• Understand the need for PSC/FSC inspection and introduction to PSC inspection
• Know the inspection checklist and types of deficiency
• Understand the various critical areas on the inspection
• Know the different categories of action taken codes by the PSC inspector
• Know the process to release your ship, in the event of detention.
• Understand on various regional agreement on PSC’s MOU
• Learn to prepare ship documents and certificates for Port-State inspections
