Rightship Safety (Confined Space Entry Procedures)
THE OBJECTIVES OF:
Understand Confined Space Entry Procedures as a critical component of the Safety Management System (SMS) required by the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.
Be able to apply the Permit to Work system to Confined Space Entry procedures to safely control and manage high-risk activities onboard.
Ensure that all personnel are informed of hazards, risks, and control measures before commencing entry, with regular monitoring and updates to safety protocols as needed.
Recognize the importance of human factors in safe operations and clarify accountability for personnel involved in operation planning and execution.
Understand the minimum safe atmosphere required for entry and work, as well as the types of testing equipment used.
Be familiar with Confined Space Entry procedures, tank atmosphere, and equipment used, enabling immediate intervention if any unsafe conditions or acts are observed.

Understand and apply the critical of Confined Space Entry procedures in ensuring safety onboard.
Learning using Permit to Work system on Confined Space Entry to control and prevent any incident.
Understand the risk that arises when entry procedures and practices are not adhered to.
Understand and conduct risk assessment to prevent, control and reduce the risks and threats involve.
Understand and able to identify hazards in Confined Space Entry.
Understand the used of testing equipment and appropriate type used.
Understand the communication arrangement and emergency procedures in place during emergency.
