IMO Model Course 1.27 - Operational Use of ECDIS


THE OBJECTIVES OF:

    This course equips participants with the necessary competency to safely operate the ECDIS system. Course participants understand the data functions, capabilities and limitations of the system.


ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

    Hold a Certificate of Competency as a Navigating Officer or at least have a minimum sea service of 6 months as deck cadet.
