Managing Behavioural & Occupational Safety Onboard Ship
THE OBJECTIVES OF:
Behavioural-Based & Occupational Safety aims to develop a sustainable safety culture onboard ship to ensure continued safe operations of ships at all times – to eliminate the at-risk behaviour culture among the Officers and Crew, the predominant reason for incidents.

- Behavioural safety & current fleet safety performances
- Making a difference through application of Behavioural Based Safety onboard and across Fleets
- Demonstration of leadership onboard ship and that commitment to safety is non-negotiable and the core of all that we do, is because we care for the life of people, for our assets and the environment in which we operate
- How to motivate shipboard crew onboard
- Applied learning and sharing of good practices and issues
- Responsibility and positive impact on behaviours of people across all levels through assertiveness on safety issues
