Ship Preparation & Singapore Bunkering Procedures
THE OBJECTIVES OF:
This course aims to offer an insight into the Bunkering Procedures presently in place in Singapore and the necessary steps to adequately prepare the vessel for safe bunkering in Singapore. It allows seafarers to understand the problems encountered during bunkering and how to prepare the ships for safe bunkering. Additionally, this course allows participants to understand the Singapore Standards for Bunkering SS600 & SS648.

At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Understand shipping systems, tank configuration & what can go wrong during bunkering
- Learn to calculate the Fuel remaining onboard & working out the loading & bunkering plan
- Understand Bunkering Procedures according to Singapore Standard Code of Practices
- Understand the Technical & Operational considerations when using Mass Flow Meter
- Know the documentations involved with bunkering
- Learn about handling Disputes
